Why Sponsor Literacy
Because literacy is the foundation of opportunity—and community.
Cultured Books Literacy Foundation exists to foster a lifelong love of reading among youth and families in St. Petersburg and the greater Tampa Bay area. We believe literacy is not just about reading books—it’s about opening doors, building confidence, and creating connection.
When you sponsor literacy, you’re investing in more than a program or an event. You’re helping shape the next generation of readers, thinkers, and storytellers—right here in our community.
Literacy
Literacy Changes Lives
Strong literacy skills are directly tied to academic success, emotional development, and long-term opportunity. But access to books, authors, and engaging literacy experiences isn’t equal for every child.
Your support helps us:
Create joyful, engaging reading experiences for families
Connect literacy to art, creativity, and self-expression
Build community-centered spaces where stories are shared and celebrated
Put books directly into the hands of children
We're building something that lasts.
Every story matters. Every voice counts. The numbers tell the story of a community that reads, shares, and remembers.

Our ApproachWhy Partner with Cultured Books Literacy Foundation?
-
Local impact. Real connection.
CBLF programs are designed with the community, not just for it. From neighborhood book clubs to hands-on art and literacy events, our work shows up where families already are.
-
Visibility with purpose.
Sponsors are recognized not just as donors, but as partners in literacy—across events, social media, marketing, and community storytelling.
-
A growing movement.
As we celebrate the 5th annual St. Pete Reads LitFest, we’re expanding our programming and reach. Sponsorships help ensure these programs remain accessible, inclusive, and sustainable.

Cash & In-Kind Donations
While financial contributions are preferred to support the full scope of Cultured Books Literacy Foundation’s programming and operational needs, we gratefully accept in-kind donations that directly align with our mission.
In-kind contributions—such as new books, educational materials, or resources tied to specific program needs—may be considered in place of a cash sponsorship. All in-kind donations are reviewed in advance to ensure they meet current organizational needs, align with our programming goals, and can be meaningfully integrated into our work.
To explore an in-kind donation or confirm eligibility, we ask that prospective donors connect with our team prior to contributing so we can ensure the best possible impact.
Together, we can make sure every contribution, cash or in-kind, supports readers where it matters most.
